At Benchmark Design Remodel, we are committed to the health and safety of our clients, staff, and trade partners. With regard to the rapidly evolving developments of the COVID-19 (the coronavirus), we want to ensure our community that as a business that interacts in people’s homes, we have instituted the highest standards of the protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
We began this week with an all-company meeting to review the guidelines outlined by the CDC. We discussed how each of us can support our project managers who are on the front lines in overseeing the strict adherence of the CDC’s guidelines for the protection of our clients and work sites.
We have reviewed good hygiene practices for our field team and will have our project managers enforce them for our team and all trades on site. We have given our project managers discretion to send sick workers and subcontractors home. We are asking our clients to let us know immediately of any illnesses in the family and agree that work will stop if anyone in the household has to be quarantined.
In addition, we are monitoring the guidelines of the CDC daily to make certain that our procedures are meeting and/or exceeding their guidelines and are up-to-date with any new developments.
